Before a track is released, we analyse the finished audio file and publish the result in the video description – target tone, tuning and stability across the whole track.
Target tone – is the frequency in the title really there, on the left and on the right channel?
Cent
Tuning – the reference pitch of the music, for example A = 444 Hz for 528 Hz tracks, measured in cents.
60 s
Stability – the track is split into one-minute sections, and every section must stay on target.
Clean
Clean sound – no hum, hiss or distortion, checked on the final master.
Method
Measured with FFT.
Finer than 0.05 Hz.
We analyse the final master with a resolution finer than 0.05 Hz. Only tracks that pass are published, and titles and thumbnails only name frequencies the measurement confirms. On the right: the certificate of “528 Hz Piano, Forest Stream & Birdsong”.
